DCF77 antenna holder/breakout board
prusaprinters
The cheap DCF77 module you can get have bad solder pads for attaching pins and you will probably rip of the antenna cable while handling this module. That's why I created a thingy that keeps both in place and you can use it as module in your project or for prototyping on breadboard.(I used some wet filament left overs for this, so the printed parts looks not so nice, but it works :-) )Print instructionsprint in PLA or PETg as you like3 perimetersAssemblyIf you need just the antenna mount, then use 2 short M3 screws and screw it to your box or whatever you have. I cut the threads in the holes with a M3 tap drill. It's good to do it, but not essential. If you want the module as shown in the picture, the you have to get some more parts:2 M3x5mm screwsperf board 2x8cm (this was from a perf board set from A…)2 pin headers with 4 pins. at least one of the should be anglednow to the assembly steps:solder pin headers in place. put them on the right edge of the pcb (see picture)place the dcf77 board on it and see if it fits. If it is too loose just bend the none angeled side so it holds the dcf77 boardcut the none angled pins so you can solder them nicely(optional, but recommended) now take the antenna holder and cut the threads test of the holder fits the antenna, if it is to tight then use a file or tape if it is to looseplace antenna holder on the left edge and align them to the solders holes and mark itdrill the holes n you marksscrew the holder in placeput antenna and dcf77 board in placesolder the dcf77 board to the pinsI used a bit of kapton tape to secure the tiny antenna wires Additional notesI'm interested in your feedback to improve my stuff! So give me likes, post makes, comment and rate the print to show others and me how well it goes.If you post a make, let me know which filament you use.If you want to support me by donating a coffee go to https://ko-fi.com/antimaterie I would really happy about it. The money will be invested in all stuff regarding 3d printing to give more and better quality models. In general my Prints are not for commercial use, but if you are a print farm owner and want to sell some of my stuff, please contact me.Hope you enjoy my models.
