DC42 Mini height sensor board support for e3d v6
thingiverse
This allows David Crocker's IR height sensor board to be attached to an E3D v6 hot end by sandwiching the new support between the E3D shroud and a 30mm fan supplied by them. Available in OnShape at: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/5f57ce2757134470f827174b/w/72fc898f0f948db66966b8fe/e/1fff43614fd32072253c43d0 Note the photos show the orientation of the fan shroud to ensure the board sits above the nozzle. Unfortunately, I was unable to persuade the photos to be in the correct sense. **UPDATE 6 Nov 2017** I now have the new E3D v6 thermistor holder, which means the height sensor is a very close fit to the holder. To accommodate this, I made a change to the design to increase the distance between the board and the new holder. The original design remains available on Onshape in the same main file (look for the new tab). Print Settings Printer Brand: Up! Printer: Up Plus Rafts: Yes Supports: It doesn't matter. Resolution: 0.15 Infill: Solid Notes: I'm printing with ABS since it's close to the hot end.
