The DC motor is the machine that converts direct current electrical energy into mechanical energy. When the electric current is applied to the windings in the motor, it is also based on the principle of moving with the effect of magnetic force in the opposite direction to the permanent magnets in the motor. The direction of this current must be constantly changed to form a reversed magnetic field to the permanent magnet. This change is made by brushes that touch the windings of the motor in brushed motors and by the electronic speed control circuit in brushless motors.DC motor, düz akım elektrik enerjisini mekanik enerjiye dönüştüren makinedir. Bu akımın yönünün, sürekli olarak sabit mıknatısa ters manyetik alan oluşturacak şekilde değiştirilmesi gereklidir.
