The compact SPG50 motor offers a cost-effective solution for medium-sized robots and mechanisms. Featuring a 100:1 gear ratio, it operates at up to 12V (tested between 9V and 15V) with a 6mm diameter D-shaft. With a stall torque of ~10.0kg-cm and weight of 300g, this motor is more powerful than the SPG30 series. Suitable applications include lightweight mechanisms like bank note machines, handling machines, educational robots, and omni drive robots. Be aware that lower voltages may not provide enough torque while higher voltages increase speed and torque but reduce motor life.
