DC-DC converter
thingiverse
This is a box for an affordable DC/DC converter (https://www.banggood.com/DC-DC-600W-10-60V-to-12-80V-Boost-Converter-Step-up-Module-Power-Supply-p-1041640.html) that comes pre-assembled but without protective casing. The lower section of this device replaces the spacers between PCB and heat sink while also connecting the casing to the device mechanically. Mounting the entire system is straightforward and can be accomplished within just a few minutes, however you should be prepared to temporarily remove the switching transistors from the heat sink. Additional details are available on my website: http://www.oe1cgs.at/dcdc-wandler/ In addition to the two printed components, you will need four self-tapping screws (3x9 mm) and two strain-reliefs.
