This container is used to protect my budget 1500watt dc-dc buck converter and to add strain relief to the wire connectors. Strain relief is accomplished by building xt90 connect mounts right into the body. This dc-dc buck converter is used to charge my 24V solar battery array during emergencies from a car 12V system. There is sufficient airflow to the bottom area where the fan is to allow for adequate cooling via the round holes even when it's sitting on a table. The actual buck converter is sold as "10-60V to 12-90V DC-DC Boost Converter with Fan 1500W 30A Step Up Power Supply Module with Fan for High Power LED Motors" on amazon. I used 53mm brass standoffs to connect the board to the housing using the four holes in the bottom of the hosing.
