DC-3 Pan American Airways System Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
A high-detail, low-poly Pan American Airways System DC-3 model (from the early '50s livery) is provided, featuring a rigged, fully UVW unwrapped design based on precise blueprints. The majority of the intricacies come from texturing. Textures are developed using Substance Painter across accurately unfolded sections with resolutions according to size to maintain pixel density. Two texture sets are included: SpecGloss PBR for V-Ray use (diffuse, glossiness, reflection, IOR, normal) and MetalRough PBR for game engines (base color, metallic, roughness, AO, height, normal). The model includes fully hierarchical linked parts with movable elements like ailerons, rudder & trim, elevators & trims, and landing gear rigged with IK chains. Available formats include 3ds Max 2016 and V-Ray 3.6, 3ds Max 2014 and V-Ray 3.2, and FBX 2014 (without materials but keeping individual pivots and links). A YouTube video demonstrates usage (https://youtu.be/DEg45qisiaE), while renders are made using 3ds Max and V-Ray (scenes not included). File sizes are 13 MB for both 3ds Max versions, while texture sizes (.rar) are 37.3 MB for V-Ray and 31.9 MB for MetalRough.
