DC-17m Clone Commando Blaster Rifle
thingiverse
Hey everyone,\r\n\r\nI've got some modified files I created by combining Tongo's original DC-17m with dalesaber's pistol grip. I fixed the geometry issues on the parts to make them solid, and made a few tweaks on the foregrip and rear receiver. I also broke down the pistol grip and trigger guard into two separate pieces because I was having trouble getting a good print - the sculpted model has a trigger guard that's about 1mm lower than the rest of the body. I did all my cleanup work in Fusion 360 and Netfabb to get everything looking right.\r\n\r\nAll the parts printed out great, as you can see from the pictures. I would suggest increasing the resolution on the magazine and being careful with support material - check out the example photo where you'll see how much clean up work I had to do.\r\n\r\nI recommend using XTC-3D epoxy for post-processing this print and superglue to join the pieces together. If you're joining face-down prints that came off a smooth build plate, make sure to rough them up first.\r\n\r\nLet me know if there are any problems with these models!
