Here is a project to build a 12V power adapter, powered by Makita LxT 18V batteries.All the components and modules fit into a 3D printed case. The 3D printed case consists of two parts, a battery plate and a case cover. The case is secured to the battery plate by four 3.5 x 15mm countersunk self-tapping screws.Features• 12V 5A continuous• Undervoltage battery protection.• Current limiting above 6A.• Continuous digital display of voltage, current and wattage.• Progressive fan cooling as unit warms up.• Power efficiency: ~93%• Quiescent operating current: ~30mA• 12V banana sockets power delivery.• Utilises commonly available Makita 18V LxT batteries.My print is made in Bambu Lab PLA Tough Gray filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 25% infill on a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon printer.
