DBPower EX5000 Adapter to use GoPro Underwater Filters

I've got an affordable underwater camera that's essentially a knock-off GoPro model. This camera is marketed under various brands and models, but mine is a DBPower E5000. I use it when snorkeling and it takes great pictures and video, but the color gets severely washed out below a certain depth. There are companies that make filters for GoPro cameras, but none of them fit this specific model. I bought a cheap filter set and decided to create an adapter to fit my camera. Below is the set I purchased: This adapter is designed to be press-fit, but since parts can vary between different machines and water could lubricate the joint allowing it to come loose, I added a few loops on the sides so you can tie a rubber band or elastic to the adapter to prevent anything from getting loose and floating away.
