I've received a double bell Kar 98K shell eject gas version. This mount is specifically designed to eliminate tapping or screwing - simply slide it in and you're ready to go. With no recoil involved, the friction works perfectly for me. The drawing does leave some tolerances, but fortunately, it fits seamlessly on my setup.
