This is my inaugural public post featuring a straightforward solution to attach a magnet to the standard DBot X carriage, utilizing a Hall sensor as an endstop. This approach minimizes the number of wires connecting the frame and the X carriage. To implement this setup, I employed a Ø8 x 3mm neodymium magnet in conjunction with a A1121LUA-T unipolar Hall sensor on my Duet WiFi board.
