DBMM Rulers

DBMM Rulers

I'm just starting to use De Bellis Magistorum Militum (DBMM) rules for wargaming. As with most wargames a means to measure distances is important so I designed the ruler using OpenScad. I have included the source code to allow you to change the stl to be generated. At the end of the file (ruler.scad) is a call that uses 2 parameters. <blockquote><i>ruler(figureScale=15, rulerLengthPaces=160) ;</i> </blockquote> This will create a 160 pace length ruler for 15 mm scale miniatures. figureScale can have values between 2 and 30, rulerLengthPaces can have lengths 40, 80, 120, 160, 200, 240 and 320. On my Ender 3 V2 I can print a 320 pace 25mm ruler diagonally across the print bed. The 15mm equivalent prints fine. I can print all 4 of the 15mm rulers at the same time. For printers with smaller beds you may need to split the stl. If you want me to add any other stl's just let me know.
