DB9 Serial Port Dust Cover
prusaprinters
Apologies for poor image quality of attached photos.Created a couple years ago after I noticed how much dust was accumulating in the seldom-used DB-9 serial ports of my desktop computer. These ports still have a niche use, especially with older hardware that simply existed before USB and specialized hardware that hasn't needed to be updated in some time and/or is too expensive to replace. My best results have been with flexible filament, as that gives a lot of leeway for tolerances being off. That being said, I have printed it in standard PLA and it worked just fine. This model's also decent to use as a quick test print because of the small size. It's fast and doesn't use much material, so you can do a few of them while fiddling with the Live Z Adjust or other parameters. Watch for stringing!
