DB's Brilliance Recognition Award
thingiverse
I'm thrilled to give a shoutout to some talented interns who came up with a genius idea! To show my appreciation, I decided to build a unique recognition award from scratch. Inside the bulb dome, I carefully installed a 10mm White LED that runs on a mere 2.7 volts and consumes only 30 milliamperes of power. In addition, I added a 10-ohm resistor to complete the circuit. Down in the base, two AAA batteries are nestled alongside a jack and a switch - all expertly wired together for a seamless experience. To create this "Wall Wart" feature, I included another resistor with a resistance of 200 ohms, allowing it to produce a reliable 5-volt output of 500 milliamperes.
