Dayton KAB Case
thingiverse
This case fits any Dayton KAB cases available from Parts Express perfectly. The amp in question is a KAB-230v2, but I'm confident that all hole patterns are identical across different models. Two speaker wire outputs, a power cable, on/off switch, and aux line are all accounted for in the design. Unfortunately, I can't guarantee compatibility with the volume pot as I don't have one to test it with. If you're interested, I've uploaded the sldprt file so you can modify it to suit your needs. This version features two tabs designed for surface mounting, but I'm currently working on a new design that includes a lid and mounting holes through the base. I'll update this design once I've finished it. To accommodate speaker wire and power cable, 9mm grommets are installed in the relevant holes. However, these holes are undersized, so you'll need to drill them out to meet your specific requirements. This case was printed using Cabron fill PLA, but any material will work. To achieve a consistent finish, I applied matte black spray paint to the entire unit, as I didn't like the difference in surface texture between the build plate face and the sides.
