This is meant to showcase my ability to model a few props based on what you typically see in everyday life or would fit right into a city street scene. The lamp post is straightforward, made from an aluminum-like material that seems rather standard issue. Its top features a window with a bright yellow hue, representing the light it's meant to cast. I deliberately chose not to model a full bulb, opting instead for simplicity and ease of refinement. This way, the lamp post remains uncluttered and visually appealing. The barrel was just as uncomplicated. Essentially, it's a disk stretched upwards with slight indentations at both ends and a few ridges close by on either side. Most of its detail comes from textures, with the lid and logo seamlessly integrated into them instead of being modeled separately. This approach is familiar in some games, particularly those from earlier days where texture limitations often forced developers to get creative with detail placement. Today, models can afford to have a much higher polygon count. The trash can is as basic as it gets – a simple steel container for waste disposal.
