I created a simple helmet in Maya that really turned out great. I spent some time working on Substance Painter and added some final touches with Photoshop to add the symbol on the side of the helmet. The symbol was designed specifically for the Day[9] community, known as the DayKnights, and it was just a fun little project I worked on in my spare time. It ended up looking fantastic after rendering it out. I had envisioned some hair on top of the helmet, but unfortunately, when I rendered it using mentalray in Maya, the hair didn't show up.
