Daydream VR Backplate with a hole for a 80mm fan
thingiverse
I crafted a custom back plate for daydream VR, designed to accommodate an 80mm fan. The hinges proved slightly too small, so I enlarged them using a rotary tool and expanded the holes where the poles securing the hinges reside. Beyond those minor adjustments, it's a solid build. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: A precise 0.1mm layer height was maintained. Infill: The print features a robust 20% infill density. Notes: The model was printed at an optimal temperature of 220C, coupled with a bed temperature of 70 to prevent warping issues from arising.
