Here are some ideas for a 3D printed pen that I came up with while brainstorming and experimenting with different materials and techniques. The designs range from simple to complex, but all of them incorporate the use of 3D printing in creative ways. One idea is for a pen that prints onto any surface using a special type of ink that adheres well to most materials. Another design features a pen that uses a combination of 3D printed parts and traditional drawing tools to create unique and intricate designs. I also experimented with creating a pen that can change its color as you draw, using a system of interchangeable ink cartridges.
