Day of the dead skull (Calaverita)

I've always been captivated by the vibrancy of the Day of the Dead Celebration. It blows my mind how, despite its name, it's actually a celebration of life that captures the vibrant colors that surround us every day. This challenge by XYZprinting really sparked something in me to connect with this tradition that showcases the countless amazing objects that are now possible to create with their Color 3D printers. I wanted to design something that could be truly printed and loved by anyone using this printer. I decided to bring my own colorful character to life; his name is Lencho. The idea behind creating your "calaverita" is that you can decorate a skull with vibrant shapes and signs, turning it from a symbol of death into a lively symbol of life that embodies happiness and cherished memories. I've always wondered what I would print if colorful prints were possible. I've tried hand-painting and layering colors, but the results never quite matched my imagination. XYZ printing is leading the way and inspiring people of all ages to reach new heights within 3D printing. Thanks for sparking this creative journey!
