The Legendary Craft of "Sigfried Cabinetmaker"\n\nIn Sweden's storied past, a cabinetmaker named Sigfrid lived in his workshop for hundreds of years. To delight the children of his village in December, he lovingly crafted small wooden balls.\n\nOne day, Sigfrid's youthful spirit remained unbroken, and he invented a game for kids. He fashioned a special ball with four separate flat faces that, when assembled, formed a beautifully decorated globe with intricate flakes. With mischief in his heart, he hid these four pieces around the streets. Then, he announced that the first child to properly assemble the ball would be rewarded with a large Semlor, a delectable Swedish pastry cream-filled delight that everyone adored ...\n\n... And now, we reveal the secret recipe:\n\nThe Semlor Delight\nPreparation Time: 75 minutes\nCooking Time: 10 minutes\n\nIngredients (for 14 treats):\nFor the Dough:\n- 100g of rich butter\n- 3 dl of creamy milk\n- 50g of active yeast\n- 1/2 teaspoon of salt\n- 10 cl of granulated sugar\n- 1 large egg\n- 1 liter of all-purpose flour\n- 1/2 teaspoon of deer horn salt (ammonium carbonate)\n\nFor the Filling:\n- 200g of sweet marzipan\n- 10 cl of milk\n- a rich custard\n- icing sugar to taste\n\nPreparing the Recipe :\n- Gently crumble the yeast in a large mixing bowl.\n- Melt the butter and mix it with the milk, heating it to exactly 37°C.\n- Pour the yeast mixture and blend until smooth.\n- Add the sugar, egg, and salt while continuously stirring.\n- When the liquid is well combined, start adding flour and deer horn salt gradually. Knead the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic, then cover it with a damp towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.\n- On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shape 14 balls of dough. Ensure the surface is smooth and even.\n- Cover and let them rest for another 30 minutes.\n- Bake at 225°C (gas mark 7-8) for 8 to 10 minutes, then allow them to cool completely.\n- Meanwhile, mix almond paste with milk.\n- To complete the preparation, carefully cut the top of each Semlor, remove the inside of the lower part (and enjoy!), Then fill with almond paste.\n- Generously cover with pastry cream, replace the cap, and sprinkle with icing sugar.\n\nDiscover our innovative Dagoma NEVA or explore our Dagoma Discoeasy200.\n\nYou can also purchase 3D printer filament or upgrade your printer with the add-on 1 : Discoeasy200 screen, the add-on 2 : extruder+, or the add-on 3 : expert pack.
