Day 47: San Francisco wave organ - 1scanaday
sketchfab
The Wave Organ is being showcased here. Located on the shore of San Francisco Bay, this sculpture was constructed in May 1986 by the Exploratorium. Specifically, it was created by Peter Richards, an artist who served as the Exploratorium's resident artist at the time. Richards conceptualized and designed the organ, collaborating closely with sculptor George Gonzales. You can view a video of The Wave Organ in action on YouTube by searching for HBSyWQU19M8. I used my iPhone 12 Pro to capture this image using Polycam.ai.
