Day 25: The friction sled

The Interview of Santa Have you had a chance to see Santa Claus at home last night? At Dagoma, we got to see his magical sleigh! And even better, we interviewed Father Christmas after the distribution of gifts. The story of his sleigh is amazing! "Hello Santa, thank you for granting us this interview. How did your gift distribution go?" "My tour went smoothly as always! The reindeer have taken to express delivery, you know. They had a steady drive, especially in recent weeks. The elves prepared all the gifts that were ordered - thankfully! - All delivered on time." "That's great to hear! Let's talk about your sled now..." "Yes, let's go! My motor sleigh has a magic engine crafted by the dwarf forges of Lapland. It's a 6.3-liter V12 powered by eight reindeer: Tornado, Dancer, Fury, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Thunder, and Lightning. Plus, this sled is equipped with a guidance system called 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.' He was added to the team in 1939. Thanks to the magic combination of very light wood and fairy dust, the sled weighs only a few hundred kilos. Its speed is variable: on average 750 km/h. It varies with updrafts and downdrafts, as well as the fitness level of the reindeer!" "Can you tell us more about these reindeer?" "They come from the mountains of Lapland. They can fly through the angel's musician. He had a contract with the reindeer: bring snow to their mountains when they needed it at the beginning of winter; in exchange, the reindeer agreed to accompany Santa on all his gift distributions." "Fascinating! Two final questions: Can you give us the composition of your fairy dust that makes your sled fly, and can we print it in 3D?" "Ahahah, yes, of course! But I'm not allowed to reveal the exact composition of fairy dust. It's a secret. However, I can tell you it's made up of joy, love, and passion. Isn't that what distinguishes your company as well?" "Yes indeed. Thank you, Santa, for this exchange. And we wish you good luck in your job, which is so exciting!" "A big thank you to you! I wish you the joy that animates you this year will also animate you next year." "Merry Christmas to all! And perhaps next year we'll see a new calendar printed in 3D..." "Discover our new Dagoma NEVA or find our Dagoma Discoeasy200." "You can also buy 3D printer filament or upgrade your printer with the add-on 1: Discoeasy200 screen, the add-on 2: extruder+, or the add-on 3: expert pack."
