The Legend of Morpheus In ancient Greek mythology, Morpheus, the son of Hypnos and Nyx, was a legendary figure known as the god of dreams. Every night since birth, he would gently cradle every child on Earth to help them drift off to sleep. But some children were unable to relax due to their fear of the dark. Morpheus decided to seek guidance from his parents, but despite several days of contemplation, they could not find a solution.
