Day 14: The snow globe

The Legend of Master Verrier Unveiled In Italy, a renowned glassmaker lived a life of exclusivity, crafting his masterpieces solely during winter. His reasoning was rooted in the love of his daughter for this season. She would often bundle up warmly and spend her days roaming the streets of their village, creating snowmen and engaging in friendly fights with her friends whenever the streets were blanketed with white snow. However, as winter inevitably came to an end, spring's arrival brought only tears and pleas from his daughter for the return of the cold weather. Her father's efforts to appease her were unsuccessful. One day, he conceived a brilliant idea - creating a glass ball with a small opening at the top. He crafted a base upon which he placed a miniature figurine of their house and then assembled the two components together. Next, using a straw, he filled the object with water and tiny white polystyrene balls inside. Finally, he sealed the small hole in the top with a droplet of still liquid glass. Upon completion, Master Verrier presented his masterpiece to his daughter, who enthusiastically reversed the ball and marveled at the snowflakes dancing around the small house. This enchanted object became her winter companion, transforming the season into a joyful experience. Discover our innovative Dagoma NEVA or explore our Dagoma Discoeasy200.
