The DAVIS case was designed specifically for the cutting-edge DAVIS (http://inilabs.com/products/dynamic-and-active-pixel-vision-sensor/) created by inilabs as a 3D printable protective casing. Standards ---------- NGSS Overview and Background ------------------------------ Instructions and Requirements --------------------------- Version 1 (Does Not Require a 3D Printed Tapping Kit) -------------------------------------------------------- The DVSLower.stl and DVSUpper.stl case are designed to be used together seamlessly. Requirements: - 2 x M3 nut - 2 x M3 screw (10mm - 15mm in length) Instructions: 1) 3D print DVSLower.stl and DVSUpper.stl. 2) Place the DVSLower on the bottom of the DAVIS. 3) Insert the M3 nuts into the hexagon holes in the DVSLower component. 4) Slide the DVSUpper over the top of the DAVIS and the DVSLower. 5) Insert the M3 screws on either side of the DVSUpper component. 6) Tighten the screws until they are secure. Version 2 (Requires a 3D Printed Tapping Kit) --------------------------------------------- The DVSLowerThreaded.stl and DVSUpper.stl case are designed to be used together seamlessly. Requirements: - 2 x M3 threaded inserts - 2 x M3 screws (10mm - 15mm in length) - 3D printing tapping kit (M3) Instructions: 1) 3D print DVSLowerThreaded.stl and DVSUpper.stl. 2) Use the tapping kit to tap the two holes on the left and right hand sides of the DVSLowerThreaded component. 3) Ensure that a M3 screw can be screwed into the tapped holes, if not, repeat Step 2. 4) Place the DVSLowerThreaded on the bottom of the DAVIS. 5) Slide the DVSUpper over the top of the DAVIS and the DVSLowerThreaded. 6) Insert the M3 screws on either side of the DVSUpper component. 7) Tighten the screws until they are secure.
