I've finally managed to gut and upgrade my trusty old XYZ DaVinci Jr. I'm scrapping the OEM Main board and Hotend assembly, giving it a complete overhaul. This remix is all about creating a removable carriage that can mount a v6 J Head with an edited Hero_Me gen2 fan mount. I've deliberately left out a probe mount since the DaVinci is so small, but I'll enable Manual Mesh Leveling in Marlin FW to make up for it. Next up, I'm designing a retrofit mount for an MKS Gen board - not sure if I'll use the 1.1.4 or Gen L, but I'm picturing it with a Gen L, even though it's not yet in its mounting position. I'm also adding a heated bed from an Ender 2 (same size) and a MOSFET to mount under the mainboard. And to top it all off, I'll have to externally mount the power supply and add a power switch.
