Summary Da Vinci E3D v6 Carriage Upgrade. This modified carriage features dual 30mm fans for enhanced cooling performance. The lateral fan is specifically designed to cool down the printed area through an inner tunnel, while the rear/front fan focuses on cooling the E3D hot sink. Notably, a new slot for the belt now boasts three holes for inserting stabilizers and securing the belt in place. To optimize fan performance, I've employed a 30mm, 5-volt fan for the hot sink, aligning with the voltage of the original 40mm fan. In contrast, a 12-volt fan is used for the printed area, facilitated by the addition of a direct 12-volt line from the electronic board. To ensure smooth carriage movement, I've opted for four LM8UU bearings to mount the carriage on the existing rods. Additionally, you'll need to print and glue an end stop bracket in its designated position. Please note that this upgrade is compatible with mk8, mk9, and mk10 motor mounts, but verify that you have the correct side filament hole placement.
