Custom-designed carriage for E3D hotend and Davinci XYZ, engineered specifically for use with hardened steel rods and SC8UU bearings. Key features include: The hotend is easily interchangeable. For instance, when printing nylon, I switch to 3mm while using 1.75mm elsewhere. A spacious area under the carriage accommodates many preexisting E3D fan ducts. Adjustable spacers allow for customization of the carriage height. Additionally, a separate z-axis height adjustment mechanism is available via https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:621440. The heater block's exposed design makes nozzle swaps effortless. A mounting point is integrated to accommodate future accessories. The PCB can be installed above the recessed screw hole on top of the carriage. Noteworthy benefits include: Smooth and quiet carriage movement. To connect the x-axis belt, drill two small holes in the aluminum bearing housing. Secure with screws and large washers.
