Update 2: I angled the nest for the brush by another 10° (20° total) for better cleaning action. I'm no longer sure where I saw the idea for this, but I modified it to suit my preferences. It was designed to hold part of a wooden Harbor Freight brass wire brush that's now gone, apparently. This looks like it may be close... https://www.harborfreight.com/2-pc-welding-brush-set-63514.html The original brush was just under 1/2" wide. I cut a 1" section off the end and inserted it into the holder. I removed the stock nozzle-wiper assembly and replaced it with this new one. I also trimmed some of the bristles in the middle so that the nozzle wouldn't touch them when parked. Update: I just found my spare brush, and it's a Lincoln Electric KH582. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Lincoln-Electric-Wooden-Handled-Brass-Wire-Brush-KH582/100341127 https://www.lowes.com/pd/Lincoln-Electric-Wire-Brush/999971568 I added some holes so you can use a small screw to hold the brush in place if it's not tight enough, or if you cut it a bit short.
