This attachment clips to the back beneath the hinged lid on your DaVinci without needing any alterations or cuts. Its designed for a wide spool with a 65mm diameter. The concept behind this was taken from another filament guide, giving due credit below, however they caused pinching when opening the cover. Now, adjusting the entry angle eliminates this issue entirely. The vertical bar's increased thickness provides added stability while reducing the overall width. To print, align it on its side and rotate the Y axis 90 degrees to accommodate the printer correctly when rotated at a 30 degree Z angle. Printing it with supports is unnecessary as well. It was successfully printed with a DaVinci 1.0 at a 0.2mm layer height using Repetier Firmware, taking about two hours and thirty minutes total. You might need some cleanup work on the filament guide afterward with a drill depending on its original shape or positioning in place to align properly.
