We adore tea. My spouse recently acquired a fantastic thermos from David's Tea, which exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, the button snapped and rendered the container impractical for everyday use. I swiftly designed a simple replacement using OpenScad, ensuring it maintained identical functionality while incorporating an essential safety feature: automatic locking to prevent accidental openings, particularly when carrying the bag. After printing at a .2 layer height, preliminary testing revealed that the design withstood the test without any issues related to layer separation. The default orientation appeared to be optimal; however, if layer separation does become a problem in the future, it can be easily addressed by printing the component on its long side with added supports, significantly enhancing its overall strength.
