Daves 60-85 Overhang plus 70mm Bridge
thingiverse
I am testing my new STOCK FANS ONLY mod, the "Bullseye". I'm printing this test at varying extrusion layer dimensions to gauge accurate cooling fan ability. Starting with 60 because my Petsfang mods have been very consistent in printing beautiful overhangs at 70% and greater. The bridge is 70mm long, giving me a basis for evaluating the integrity of layers during bridging. A close-up view of the overhangs shows the new CR10 "stock fans" Bullseye in action. A stock little 4010 blower is used for part cooling. From left to right, the overhang angles are 85, 80, 75, 70, 65, and 60 degrees. This gives me a better idea of how layers will print with hot overlayers being quickly cooled, really taxing the cooling system since the layers stay hot as it prints.
