DAVEGA X waterproofing seal
thingiverse
I printed a waterproof gasket for my DAVEGAX using janpom's design from the esk8 forums, in blue Ninjaflex TPU that's soft enough to seal properly. I cut a small slit with an exacto knife so the cable can pass through without any issues. You'll need to drill a hole in your trampa deck for the cable if you're using the same setup as me, just like shown in the image provided. The buttons and screen are already waterproofed when you get the module from Jan, so don't worry about those too much. Make sure to tighten the screws down tightly to create a good seal. By choosing a color that matches your board, it will add a custom touch to the davega with your build. I also posted a picture of how I waterproofed and protected the cable coming from the enclosure - using 2 layers of strong double-sided tape covered in electrical tape for extra protection. Here are some tips for printing TPU: * Disable retraction * Increase extrusion multiplier to around 1.2 * Print slowly, such as 20 mm/s * Printing temperature should be between 230-235 degrees
