The Dassault Mirage III is an iconic aircraft that brings back memories of my youth, watching TV shows about two French pilots flying the sleek Mirage III (Les Chevaliers du Ciel). The Mirage III/5/50 family boasts 1422 aircraft built in various versions and has been widely exported; this package features three models chosen for their representative shape and construction. The Mirage III C serves as Israel's main user, deployed during the Six-Day War and Yom Kippur War under its variant CJ. The Mirage III E, in export EA form, fought alongside Argentinians during the Falkland War, distinguishable from the C variant by its exhaust shape and cockpit positioning moved forward. Various sub-variants of the C and E models saw action with South Africa's Air Force during the Border War. The Mirage III O, produced in Australia at 100 airframes, was later acquired by Pakistan and used against India's Army; despite various upgrades, it remains in service today. The O variant closely resembles the E model with an Avon engine and simplified tail geometry visible on some French Mirage III Es. Models printed at 1:100 scale using a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.12 mm layers are featured in this package. Printed with an Ender3, as shown in the image from PrusaSlicer 2.0.
