The Mirage III - an incredible fighter jet with a rich history. Its evolution was fueled by lessons learned from Israel's wars, which led to the creation of the Mirage 5. However, when embargoes threatened Israel, the Mirage 5 was modified into the Kfir, equipped with a powerful J79 engine. South Africa also upgraded the Mirage III into the Atlas Cheetah, showcasing its versatility. To bring this magnificent jet to life, I created a detailed model in Blender 2.79b, scaling it down to 1/100 for the STL file. In the slicer, I further reduced the scale by 35% to achieve optimal printability. For reference, the dice used are 15mm in size. As always, if this design doesn't print well, it won't be shared here. Next up, I'm excited to tackle another project - the experimental Leduc 022 plane that was outdone by the Mirage III for production.
