The Mirage 2000N is a lightweight, single-engine French fourth-generation jet fighter developed by Dassault Aviation for the Armée de l'Air. Created in the late 1970s as a Mirage III-based aircraft, it evolved into a versatile multirole plane with multiple variants sold to various nations. The Mirage 2000N boasts a low-set thin delta wing design featuring a cambered section, a leading-edge sweep of 58 degrees, and a blended root; its area-ruled layout allows for improved aerodynamics. The aircraft also features two small canard wings fixed behind the air intakes, providing negative stability and fly-by-wire controls managed by four analog computers. The Mirage 2000N incorporates several distinctive design elements, including an airbrake fitted above and below each wing in a configuration reminiscent of the Mirage III. Its noticeably taller tailfin enables pilots to maintain control at high angles of attack, while small strakes along the air intakes assist in maintaining stability during maneuvering. Product Features (Poser): * Poser figure: obj, cr2/png with 2,121 polygons * The tail rudder can be rotated left or right using an ERC dial on the Body * The left and right wing flaps and ailerons can rotate up and down * A single ERC dial controls all wing flaps and ailerons to move up or down in unison * A second ERC dial allows the wing flaps and ailerons to rotate in opposite directions, simulating aircraft turns during flight * The canopy cannot be opened, but there is no cockpit * The landing gear/doors can be hidden or displayed, with included hide/show poses available Textures: * One set of 1024x1024 pixel texture maps is provided for this product. This product has been designed to function seamlessly within Poser 5 and higher versions. However, it has not been tested in DAZ Studio; while the files may be imported successfully, technical issues with importation are possible. We use Poser exclusively, therefore, we cannot provide support related to compatibility concerns with DAZ Studio. Product Features (3ds/obj): * Approximate 2,121 polygons used throughout this model * A low-polygon count and optimized game-readiness make it ideal for virtual games and applications * The entire model was constructed using both 3-point and 4-point polygon systems * This version of the model includes a complete set of groups (interpretation by software), breaking down individual components as: + Rudder. + Left and right wing flaps + Left and right wing ailerons + Landing gear/doors The canopy is sealed, with no cockpit provided for this configuration The landing gear and doors may be displayed or concealed. Although separate groups are defined within the model file, it is not rigged. A comprehensive texture (available in jpg format) measuring 1024x1024 pixels is included, covering every component of the design to facilitate a natural finish when integrating with virtual environments. Fully licensed for gaming applications and perfectly adaptable as a background filler piece, this detailed product stands out in diverse settings and conditions.
