The Dassault Falcon 50, a French-built mid-sized long-range corporate jet, boasts a three-jet engine layout with an S-duct central engine. With similar capacity and fuselage cross section to the Falcon 20 twinjet, it features a more advanced wing design in its new construction. The first prototype took flight on November 7, 1976, receiving French airworthiness certification on February 27, 1979, followed by U.S. Federal Aviation Administration approval on March 7, 1979. Dassault also developed a maritime surveillance and environmental protection version known as the Gardian 50. The Falcon 50 was succeeded by the Falcon 50EX, first flown in 1996 and last delivered in 2008, with improved engines and additional enhancements for extended range capabilities on an already long-legged jet. Popular for its luxury and status symbolism, the Falcon 50EX's final model was constructed in late 2007 and delivered early 2008. As a Wavefront OBJ product feature, the low-poly, game-ready model has approximately 1,874 polygons, with window textures, but no interior, grouping information, landing gear, or adjustable transparency. It includes one material and is UV mapped, accompanied by a 1024x1024 jpg texture.
