DashCam T slot adapter to Garmin
thingiverse
I received a low-cost dash cam as a gift, and the low-quality suction cup snapped. So I repurposed an old Garmin GPS and salvaged the suction cup post with ball, created the adapter and voila. It's working again! Very straightforward and could use some enhancements which I intend to make but for now it gets it up and running. No supports are required as it has built-in supports for the T, easy release. You may or may not need to file a little down, depending on the device it's for. This particular dashcam was for the Cyclops HD Unit. I have to say I'm pleased with how it turned out. Prints fine in Nylon, ABS, and PLA. With Nylon and ABS you will need rafts as there is a very small surface area for contact on the rim.
