Dash the Mouse
myminifactory
I lovingly hand-carved Dash the Mouse from wood especially for my newborn baby girl. Initially, I aimed to create one adorable animal, but scanning and printing transformed Dash into an irresistibly cute pest. The original scan includes a string tail, which makes it fragile when printed. If you're making a kid's toy, I highly recommend using the second model with a hole for the tail. Simply glue a string in after printing. I officially began carving Dash three months before my baby girl was born and she didn't receive it until her first birthday. It turns out that carving wood for the first time is incredibly challenging. My friend Mitch Hedberg is known as the #1 cutest pest ever, but I'm pretty sure Dash comes in second.
