Dash Masquerade Mask
thingiverse
The dashed masquerade mask is another one of my innovative mask designs that's definitely worth checking out! It may not be the most intricate design, but it was an absolute blast to create. The tulle plays a huge role in keeping the design intact while making the mask super flexible at the same time. This also gives the illusion that the mask is floating on your face or like a tattoo. You can either stick it directly onto your skin or attach a ribbon using the little attachments on each side. When it comes to printing this design, I highly recommend using a skirt as it catches any stray filament while you're adding the tulle to the print. To make things easier, you'll need to pause the print after the first layer so you can add the tulle. Here's a script that does just that when you slice it with Simplify 3D: {REPLACE "; layer 2," "G28 Y0 X0\nM0\n; layer 2,"}. For full instructions on how to make this mask, head over to my Instructable at https://www.instructables.com/id/Flexible-3D-Print-Masks/. If you're interested in purchasing this design or others like it, feel free to check out my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/MasterofNoneBoutique. This mask was designed using a combination of Silhouette Studio and Tinkercad.
