This dash cam mount is designed specifically for the Z-edge camera, adapting it to fit on a Subaru Outback's rearview mirror mount. The necessary files in Fusion 360 are included, allowing for modification as needed. The mirror post accommodates a 20mm tube, while the swivel mount fits a 16mm ball with threads that measure 20mm and have a 1.5mm pitch. Given its common design, this swivel mount may be compatible with various cameras beyond just the Z-edge. To allow the c-clip to stretch during installation, ABS was used; any other material might not recover from this process. Since ABS has a high temperature tolerance, melting in the car is unlikely. The print settings were: Hatchbox ABS white on a Prusa Mk3 at standard ABS temperatures and 0.2mm layer height. The arm and ball mount were printed separately and then glued together using acetone. Printing with a 0.1mm layer height caused some excess material to ooze from the threads of the ball socket, but both parts function properly nonetheless.
