Dasaki compact servo 1:2 (2x) multiplier gearbox
thingiverse
I was able to improve the speed of a continuous rotation servo using a clever trick. By multiplying the standard servo with a ratio of 1:2, I gained significantly more rapid rotations. This same principle can also be applied to increase the angle range by two times, which is incredibly useful for devices like pan-tilt units. Instead of being limited to 180 degrees, these servos can now swing up to 360 degrees. To make use of this hack with standard servos, one usually doesn't need spacers but it may be required with some others, like the MG995 servo which needs these tiny accessories installed properly. The assembly process is quite straightforward: one simply has to use a single M3x15mm cross flat head screw, along with two M3 washers and a M3 self-locking nut. The complete steps are detailed on this link https://youtu.be/DglwlFt9taQ for easier reference.
