Dasaki compact servo 1:2 (2x) multiplier gearbox
cults3d
I am designing a 1:2 multiplier for standard sized RC servos to increase their speed and efficiency. This project was initially created to enhance the continuous rotation of servos, but it can also be used to double the angle range, such as turning a 180-degree servo into a 360-degree pan-tilt unit. Most standard servos do not require spacer installation, but certain models like the MG995 may need them. To assemble this multiplier, you will need one M3x15mm cross flat head screw, two M3 washers, and a M3 self-locking nut. You can see this project in action by watching the video at https://youtu.be/DglwlFt9taQ. Update: Due to popular demand, I have designed and uploaded micro servo versions with the "_micro" suffix. However, please note that these models are still untested. As an inventor and maker, you can explore my latest projects on my blog at www.therandomlab.com.
