I remade the extruder base and top cover. Only the right side pieces were finished, but you can easily flip them over to get the left sides done too. The notch for the tube compression fitting was carved out in the top piece, and the lower ring on the mount was removed since it gets in the way of the small fin on the heatsink. I also added a 18mm mount to the top cover for an induction sensor. Maybe this will help others with their builds too.
