Compact geared extruder 1:3 compared to Wade's is more efficient. Large wheel has 33 teeth while small one has 11. Motor size can range from Nema 17 to Nema 11. Body_part_B_1_75mm is designed for 1.75mm filament, so you must add a PTFE tube piece with 4mm OD/3mm ID. Body_part_B_3_00mm is designed for 3mm filament without any PTFE tube needed. Filament guides named "1_75" are specifically made for 1.75mm filament. It allows a clear and nice view of the filament input hole. The piece includes a filament guide/pressure adjustment mechanism; use some glue to fix the knob to the M4 screw. You can choose four different stiffness levels for the piece filament_guide. You can also choose the motor position: left or right. No supports are required as they're included in the 3D models. Body_part_A and body_part_B have space for extra captive nuts, so you can attach your own stuff like fan ducts, leveling sensors, etc. You will need a hobbed Drive Gear (MK8 with about 7mm effective diameter) or an MK7 drive gear along with this hardware: 2x 605 bearings 1x 623 bearing 1x M5x45mm screw with hexagonal head 1x M5 auto-locking nut 2x M5 washers 1x M4x10mm screw with hexagonal head (knob) 1x M4 nut (knob holder) 3x M3x10mm screws (motor) 3x M3x25mm screws (assembly) 4x M3 nuts (2 assembly and 2 pinion) 1x M3 auto-locking nut (assembly / filament guide) This project is licensed under The TAPR Open Hardware License.
