Compact geared extruder designed to be smaller compared to Wade's version features large wheel with 33 teeth and small wheel with 11 teeth. Motor size can range from Nema 17 to Nema 11 in order to accommodate different applications. Body_part_B_1_75mm is specifically designed for use with 1.75mm filament, requiring the addition of a 4mm OD/3mm ID PTFE tube piece. In contrast, Body_part_B_3_00mm is designed for 3mm filament and does not require the use of a PTFE tube. Filament guides named "1_75" are designed for use with 1.75mm filament version, allowing for a clear view of the filament input hole. The guides also include a mechanism for adjusting pressure (use some glue to fix the knob to the M4 screw). Four different stiffness options are available for the piece filament_guide. The position of the motor can be chosen to either the left or right side of the system. No supports are required, as they are included in the 3D models. Body_part_A and body_part_B include space for additional M3 captive nuts, allowing users to attach custom items such as fan ducts or leveling sensors. To complete this extruder, a hobbed Drive Gear (MK7 with approx. 10.56mm effective diameter) is required, along with the following hardware: * 2x 605 bearings * 1x 623 bearing * 1x M5x45mm screw, hexagonal head * 1x M5 auto-locking (nylon) nut * 2x M5 washers * 1x M4x10mm screw, hexagonal head (knob) * 1x M4 nut (knob holder) * 3x M3x10mm screws (motor) * 3x M3x25mm screws (assembly) * 4x M3 nuts (2 assembly and 2 pinion) * 1x M3 auto-locking (nylon) nut (assembly / filament guide) Note: The motor used in the pictures is a "pancake" Nema 17 pulled from an old inkjet printer, featuring a torque of 12 N*cm. While it may get warmer than stronger motors, it effectively gets the job done.
