DarwinFPV Baby Ape Pro v2 Prop Guards

DarwinFPV Baby Ape Pro v2 Prop Guards

thingiverse

This is a remix customized for the different prop arms on V2 of the DarwinFPV Baby Ape Pro quadcopter. Printing is challenging. I started with PETG, which seems to shatter surprisingly easily in minor crashes. PLA seems like it might actually survive better and is a much easier print, but I haven't tested it in a crash yet. Print two rear protectors, a front protector, and a front protector flipped about the X axis. They can attach with zip ties. Traditional supports are difficult to remove. I printed using PrusaSlicer 2.6.0-alpha5 with a 0.4mm nozzle, organic supports in a few strategic locations, and fairly low print speeds so the overhangs come out OK. The .3mf files are saved in PrusaSlicer with paint-on supports. I hacked up the remixed object using Fusion 360 - see the .f3d file.
