Darth Vaders TIE Fighter Shift Knob
thingiverse
My buddy needed a fresh shift knob replacement, so I designed one in SolidWorks and created a connector that fits snugly onto the stick in his ride. The model is still pretty cool without the knob attachment, making it a great display piece or desk toy. I printed it out using PLA Black Filament, and the whole process took about 6 hours to complete. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: It doesn't matter what kind of rafts you use. Supports: Make sure to add supports for stability. Resolution: Set your resolution to .25mm for a smooth finish. Infill: Use 15% infill for a good balance between weight and print time.
